Project Context
Design phase of a 25+‑floor data‑centre or healthcare project under an EPC contract. Managed by a small on‑site team (1–5 members). You’ll collaborate closely with senior architects and MEP engineers to produce BIM‑enabled design deliverables.
Role Summary
Junior Architect – translate conceptual intent into detailed construction drawings and BIM models. Support senior architect to ensure MEP code & building regulation compliance. Deliver layout sign‑off within six months, directly impacting schedule & client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft detailed architectural plans and sections using AutoCAD & Revit, ensuring accuracy to design intent.
- Create 3D BIM models of substations and electrical equipment, integrating with MEP systems.
- Coordinate with MEP & structural teams to resolve clashes and maintain BIM integrity.
- Prepare bills of quantities & BBS documents for cost estimation.
- Participate in design review meetings, documenting decisions and action items.
- Maintain updated construction drawings, specifications & documentation in the CAD studio.
Education & Specialization
**Required education:** Bachelor of Architecture
Must-Have
- 2–3 years of architectural drafting experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit & BIM coordination.
- Knowledge of MEP codes & building regulations.
- Ability to produce detailed construction drawings.
- Strong teamwork & communication skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with LEED certification processes.
- Background in CAD studio workflows.
