Project Context
Mid‑scale commercial office project, valued over ₹100 Cr, in Design phase under a consultant delivery model with an agile site team of 1–5 professionals.
Role Summary
Lead Architect: steer design vision, collaborate with clients and consultants, deliver high‑quality construction drawings, secure planning approvals, and guide BIM coordination to eliminate clashes and ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and translate client intent into detailed packages.
- Produce 2D & 3D drawings in AutoCAD 2D and Revit, compliant with local codes & RCC specs.
- Coordinate BIM workflows using IFC standards & BIM 360 to resolve clashes across architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines.
- Develop & maintain BOQ, ensuring accurate quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to refine decisions and facilitate timely approvals.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp.
- Prepare presentation materials and present design intent in client meetings.
Education & Specialization
**Required education:** Bachelor of Architecture
Must-Have
- Bachelor of Architecture degree.
- 2–3 years of design experience on mid‑scale commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD 2D.
- Strong BIM collaboration skills, including IFC coordination.
- Ability to produce detailed RCC & structural drawings.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience coordinating MEP disciplines within BIM.
- Familiarity with IFC & BIM 360 platforms.
- Background on large‑scale commercial office projects.
