Civil Engineer

<p>- Supervise daily road work activities including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, and BC layers as per approved drawings and IRC/MORTH specifications.</p><p>- Assist in planning daily and weekly work fronts, coordinating with site supervisors, surveyors, plant, and machinery teams to achieve targeted progress.</p><p>- Carry out level checking, line and grade verification with survey teams, and ensure correct setting out before and during execution.</p><p>- Record daily progress, labour and machinery deployment, and material consumption in site logs and MS Excel-based formats; submit reports to the Site In-charge.</p><p>- Take joint measurements with client/consultant representatives and support preparation of RA bills, quantity reconciliation, and documentation for billing.</p><p>- Coordinate with quality personnel for field tests (e.g., compaction, material approvals) and ensure rectification of non-conformities to reduce rework and quality issues.</p><p>- Support implementation of basic traffic management, housekeeping, and safety measures on site, and ensure adherence to site instructions and statutory requirements.</p><p><br></p><br /><br />Must-Have:<br /><p>• B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 2-3 years of experience in road or infrastructure projects (internship experience acceptable): B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 2-3 years of experience in road or infrastructure projects (internship experience acceptable)</p><p>• Basic understanding of road construction sequence (subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC) and related IRC/MORTH specifications: Basic understanding of road construction sequence (subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC) and related IRC/MORTH specifications</p><p>• Hands-on experience or internship exposure in site supervision, level checking, and daily progress reporting: Hands-on experience or internship exposure in site supervision, level checking, and daily progress reporting</p><p>• Ability to take measurements at site and assist in preparation of RA bills and quantity reconciliation: Ability to take measurements at site and assist in preparation of RA bills and quantity reconciliation</p><p>• Willingness to work full-time at project sites in and around Pune with extended hours as per site requirements: Willingness to work full-time at project sites in and around Pune with extended hours as per site requirements</p><p>• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word for reports, logs, and quantity calculations: Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word for reports, logs, and quantity calculations</p><br /><br />Nice-to-Have:<br /><p>Prior internship or 6–12 months experience with a roads/highways EPC contractor: Prior internship or 6–12 months experience with a roads/highways EPC contractor</p><p>Basic knowledge of survey instruments (auto level, total station) and setting out: Basic knowledge of survey instruments (auto level, total station) and setting out</p><p>Exposure to quality control tests for road works (field density, cube tests, bitumen tests, etc.): Exposure to quality control tests for road works (field density, cube tests, bitumen tests, etc.)</p><p>Familiarity with traffic management and safety practices on live roads: Familiarity with traffic management and safety practices on live roads</p><p>Ability to communicate in Marathi and Hindi for coordination with labour and local stakeholders: Ability to communicate in Marathi and Hindi for coordination with labour and local stakeholders</p>
