Project Context
Large‑scale data centre design (₹100 Cr+) under EPC delivery, currently in the design phase. The site team is a medium group of 5–15 members working from the Pune office. Focus is on end‑to‑end MEP solutions with tight coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and automation disciplines.
Role Summary
Senior Architect responsible for leading MEP design and coordination for a high‑rise data centre. The role will drive clash‑free BIM workflows, mentor a 5–15 member team, and accelerate project delivery while ensuring compliance with Indian building codes and sustainability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 2D & 3D Revit modeling of substation and electrical equipment, ensuring accurate BIM data.
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, fire protection and plumbing systems, maintaining interface clarity.
- Conduct 4D & 5D simulation using Navisworks for clash detection and constructability reviews.
- Prepare BBS and detailed BOQ, integrating SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro analysis where required.
- Mentor junior team, provide design reviews, and enforce quality control standards.
- Liaise with client, consultants and contractors to resolve design conflicts and maintain schedules.
Education & Specialization
**Required education:** Bachelor of Architecture
Must-Have
- Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 5 years of architectural experience in MEP design.
- Proficiency in BIM (Revit) and AutoCAD.
- Experience coordinating electrical, mechanical and plumbing disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of Indian building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with LEED certification.
- Familiarity with IFC standards.
- Experience in multi‑disciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera.
