About the role
The Electrical Engineer (BIM) will design and model electrical systems using Revit MEP, coordinate clashes across trades, produce documentation and BIM deliverables for diverse building sectors. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical sizing, ELV services, and BIM standards to support project delivery from design through construction.
Responsibilities
Study project specifications and technical documents
Assist in Revit model setup
Review input data and prepare reports for insufficient data
Allocate and manage daily project tasks
Model electrical services in Revit MEP
Coordinate electrical services with Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, etc.
Create Revit content and sheet setups
Participate in team and client meetings
Review and QA/QC project deliverables
Ensure modeling complies with BIM standards and client requirements
Requirements
Qualifications include a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Diploma, 3–7 years experience in BIM for electrical engineering, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks. Candidates must be adept in electrical sizing, clash coordination, and documentation, with experience on international projects across multiple sectors.
