About
- A passionate civil engineer with a progressive career in construction and railway infrastructure. Began as a trainee engineer from October 2020 to May 2021 in a villa project, then joined the railway sector as an AutoCAD operator/draftsman from September 2021 to March 2023 on the Angul-Sukinda New BG Rail Link project. As an AutoCAD operator, I prepared detailed completion drawings for the entire project stretch (0-19 km and 47-92 km), including all minor bridges. Developed General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) and structural drawings in compliance with the latest RDSO guidelines and some miscellaneous drawings used on-site. Created cross sections of the track bed and performed accurate quantity calculations using MS Excel, AutoCAD, and SWDTM software. Assisted in contractor bill preparation, Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), and project scheduling using MS Excel. Promoted to civil estimator on the same project, contributing to cost estimation, documentation, preparing contractor bills, and project management. Proficient in utilizing technical tools for efficient project execution and reporting, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
