#Concrete Quality Control: Slump Tests & Vibrator Calibration

During the Bengaluru high‑rise project, we managed 120,000 m³ of concrete delivered by CEMEX India. Daily slump tests stayed within ±5 cm, ensuring uniform strength across all floors. The key lesson was to calibrate vibrators before each pour to avoid segregation.

  • Standardize slump testing protocol across crews.
  • Record test results in a shared dashboard.
  • Schedule vibrator maintenance weekly.
  • Cross‑check mix design against lab results.
