The Chandigarh community center now hosts 20% of its roof as solar PV, thanks to SunPower India’s 200 kWp installation on 22‑June‑2024. Carbon footprint reduced by 1,200 tonnes per year.

Implementation notes:
- Integrated solar panels with the existing roof structure without additional load.
- Added a battery storage system to smooth peak demand.
- Trained maintenance staff on panel cleaning and monitoring.
